kangaroo leather pouches
Catapult Carnage is now offering vegetable-tanned, falconry-grade kangaroo leather pouches in a variety of sizes, shapes, and weights. Kangaroo leather is an ideal material for slingshot pouches since it is pound-for-pound the strongest and most durable leather available. We source our falconry-grade kangaroo leather from only the finest suppliers: Mike's Falconry Supplies in the U.S. and Identity Leathercraft in the U.K. Currently, our pouches come in four different thicknesses: lightweight (0.6mm–0.8mm), middle weight (0.8mm–1.0mm), heavyweight (1.0mm–1.2mm), and extra heavyweight (1.2mm–1.4mm).
When it comes to pouches, thicker isn't always better; it's a matter of personal preference. If you like feeling the ammo between your thumb and forefinger and don't want to go through the hassle of "breaking in" a pouch, try a lightweight or middleweight thickness. If you like a stiffer pouch that must be broken is (but is hyper-resilient), try extra heavyweight. And if you're just not sure, heavyweight is a good place to start. These pouches are meant to be reused and get more comfortable as time goes on!

All of our pouches are handmade using die cutters, a mechanical press, and hammer. We currently have 21 different die cutters (i.e., pouch models), which are organized by designer below. These designers include GZK, slingshooting.com, and RCDIOS. We have hand-selected die cutters (i.e., pouch models) from each manufacturer to fit a diverse selection of ammo sizes—ranging anywhere from 6mm to 14mm steel. Images of each pouch model are shown below.
